Everyone has their days where they need a place to set their stuff down and get their to do list done. Working spaces for students, freelancers, business professionals, and basically anyone who needs a place to get their work done- a home away from home to be productive.
I recently discovered the Owlery when I attended a writing workshop held at one of their meeting rooms, with the scenic view from the large upscale window, complementary self-serve coffee and tea, spacious and relaxing ambiance, and accommodating staff service. For someone who’s a workaholic on the go I couldn’t help appreciate how simple yet satisfying this place is.
The Owlery is the brainchild of three sisters: Iris, Glee, and Ariel. They were inspired by their father’s friend who introduced the concept of a working space to them and from that idea Iris (the heart and passionate soul), that runs the place chose a design and concept that she herself looked for when was in grad school looking for a place to work outside of school.
Iris is an avid traveller that loves to collect anything that’s an Owl, she displays bits and pieces of her beloved collection in the Owlery. (She switches her collections around, and if you’re observant enough to notice then you’ve got a good eye!)
You can reserve the whole place for your events and other functions, also there’s two meeting rooms that can be reserved that’s fully suitable to your needs.
What particularly caught my eye that Iris kindly pointed out to my astounded self is the chairs in front of the windows.
What makes it special? It’s custom-made to be a perfect fit to accommodate stretching your legs when you want to make sure you can still move them after long hours of sitting.
One of the struggles when working is getting stuck in cramped spaces that we can almost relate to tuna inside a tin can. Feel free to cross your legs, Indian sit, or whatever sitting position you want without any hassle with space issues.
To ensure that every customer has the security they deserve and reassure them that their belongings are safe in case they need to leave temporarily or buy food (allowed as long as it doesn’t disturb others).
They have a profile form that each customer signs to acknowledge the house rules such as Be considerate of others, no alcoholic drinks, and etc.
Location: SMRC Bldg, 3rd Flr., 331 Katipunan Ave, Quezon City, 1108 Metro Manila
A special message from The Owlery:
We want you to feel a service you can rely on and feel safe. When you’re here it is a place where you can still relax and be motivated to work.
